Plumbline Terms of Service

Effective date: 27 July 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Xpertise Consultancy LLC FZ, trading as Avoriq ("we", "us"), the operator of Plumbline. By creating an account or using Plumbline, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

What Plumbline is

Plumbline is a golf gear advisor. You enter details about your game and your equipment, and Plumbline analyses that data to describe your bag, your yardages, and your gaps, and to suggest equipment that may suit you. Recommendations are generated from your data and from product information in our catalog. We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or any other benefit from equipment manufacturers or retailers, and no recommendation is ever paid for.

Recommendations are guidance, not fitting advice

Plumbline's analysis is a starting point, not a substitute for professional advice. Golf equipment performance depends on factors we cannot measure through the app. Before spending money on equipment, we recommend an in-person fitting with a qualified fitter. You are responsible for your own purchasing decisions, and we are not liable for the outcome of equipment you buy, keep, or sell based on Plumbline's suggestions.

Your account

You need an account to use Plumbline. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.

Subscriptions and payment

Plumbline is a paid service, billed as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. Where offered, new subscribers receive a free trial (currently 7 days); if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged at the price shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Refund requests are made to Apple through their standard process. Prices may change; if they do, the change applies from your next renewal and Apple will notify you as required.

If you cancel or your subscription lapses, your data remains stored under our privacy policy and your account returns to full function if you resubscribe, unless you delete your account.

Your data and content

You keep ownership of the data you enter into Plumbline, including your clubs, sessions, rounds, and profile. You give us the limited right to store and process that data to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.

Some things you add may be visible to other users, such as equipment entries submitted to the shared catalog and courses you create. Anything you submit to shared areas must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, must not infringe anyone's rights, and must not contain offensive or unlawful material. We may edit, verify, merge, or remove shared catalog entries at our discretion. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed as described in the privacy policy; verified shared catalog entries may be retained without any link to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to access other users' data; probe, disrupt, or overload the service; use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract the catalog or any other part of the service; misrepresent Plumbline's output as your own commercial product; or use the service for anything unlawful.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app settings or by emailing us. Deletion takes effect after a 30 day grace period, during which you can restore your account by signing back in. After the grace period, your account and personal data are permanently removed as described in the privacy policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription; cancel that separately in your App Store settings.

Our content

The Plumbline software, design, brand, and the analysis it produces are ours or our licensors'. Equipment names and trademarks belong to their respective manufacturers; their appearance in Plumbline is for identification only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement in either direction.

Service changes and availability

We work to keep Plumbline available and improving, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add, or remove features. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data by contacting us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: Plumbline is provided as is; we make no warranty that its analysis is complete, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the cost of equipment purchased. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
