Plumbline Privacy Policy

Plumbline is a golf gear advisor app operated by Xpertise Consultancy LLC FZ, trading as Avoriq ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data Plumbline collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and recommendations are driven by your data alone. Unbought, unbiased, unbothered applies to your data too.

What we collect

Account data. Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account.

Profile data you provide. Optional details such as your handicap, gender, swing speed, and preferences (for example ball priority and budget). These improve the quality of recommendations.

Golf data you enter. Your clubs, shafts, and balls; carry distances; practice session data such as club speed, ball speed, launch angle, and spin; rounds you log, including course, score, and shot patterns. This is the core data the app exists to analyse for you.

Technical data. Basic logs generated by our hosting and database provider when you use the app, such as IP address and request timestamps, used for security and reliability.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or anything from other apps.

How we use your data

Your data is used to run the app's features: analysing your bag, matching balls to your game, computing carry averages from your sessions, and keeping a history of your rounds. Your email is used only for authentication and essential service messages. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with equipment manufacturers or retailers.

Where your data lives

Plumbline stores data with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Data is protected in transit by encryption and access is restricted so that your records are readable by your account and by us only as described below. Our team does not routinely access your data; access is limited to what is necessary to operate the service or resolve a problem you report.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the address below. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile, clubs, sessions, and rounds in the app at any time. You can control whether your logged session data influences recommendations using the in-app data toggle. You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
